Brandon Jacobs Inks Deal With 49ers

Following in his former Giants teammate Mario Manningham's footsteps, Brandon Jacobs has signed a one year deal with the 49ers. This move will bring depth to the 49ers backfield. He is expected to share the backup carries with Kendall Hunter. Frank Gore is known to not like coming off of the field so there aren't many backup carries to share. Short yardage is where he will most likely be utilized.
The 49ers have now stolen two players from the team that beat them in the NFC Championship game last season. The Niners have made more off-season moves this year than they have in a long time. This shows the this team wants to win and win now.
