49ers Sign LB Rowe; Waive S LeGree

The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have signed LB Kenny Rowe to a two-year contract. The team also announced it has waived S Mark LeGree.

Rowe (6-3, 235) originally signed with the 49ers as undrafted free agent on July 27, 2011, and was later released following training camp.

A 23-year old native of Los Angeles, CA, Rowe played collegiately at Oregon where he appeared in 52 games (26 starts) for the Ducks, and registered 109 tackles, 23.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He earned second-team All-Pac 10 honors, as a senior.

LeGree (6-0, 210) was signed by San Francisco on January 24, 2012. In 2011, he spent time on the 49ers, Arizona Cardinals and New York Jets practice squads. LeGree was originally selected in the fifth round (156th overall) by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2011 NFL Draft out of Appalachian State.
