Video of Dashon Goldson Hit On Aaron Hernandez That Got Him Fined $21,000

This is the hit that got Dashon Goldson fined. It looks like a clean hit to me. You be the judge.

  1. Looks like at the point of impact he lowered his head and helmet and attacked the head/neck area. Did not look like he used his shoulder pads.. the initial hit is what matters, he then slides to the left and downwards.

  2. You obviously don't understand the rule if you think this is a clean hit. You may not like the rule, but as long as it is enforced, you will be fined if you break it, and Goldson broke it … duh!

  3. Looked like he was aiming to hit low but did not consider the angle of Hernandez's return from his jump. If he had timed the hit to happen sooner he would have impacted Hernandez's midsection. Either way, though, he lowered his helmet and attacked with his head instead of shoulder pads.

  4. Ridiculous rule. How does the NFL expect them to defend passes like this ??? This is football, if you don’t want to get hit don’t play the game, it’s that simple!
