49ers Vs Eagles Full Game

Vernon Davis says he’ll be fine after suffering back spasms

The 49ers got tight end Vernon Davis back in the lineup for the start of their game against the Eagles after he missed Week Three, but Davis wasn’t able to make it all the way through the contest.

Davis was listed as questionable heading into the game with an ankle injury, but that wasn’t the injury that forced him out of the 26-21 Niners victory. Davis left after getting hit in the back by Eagles cornerback Bradley Fletcher following a catch and had to be helped to the back in what looked to be a fair amount of pain.

Jim Harbaugh: Deion Sanders comments “a bunch of crap”

NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders did a cannonball into the media pool yesterday, claiming that 49ers players want coach Jim Harbaugh out.

Harbaugh responded today by saying that pool is full of something other than water.

Deion Sanders says Niners players want Harbaugh out

Sunday marked the first regular-season win for the 49ers at Levi's Stadium.  Leave it to Deion Sanders to dump a bucket of ice water on the victory parade.

Via NFL.com, Sanders dropped a bombshell about the future of coach Jim Harbaugh on NFL GameDay Final.

Jim Harbaugh thinks home field advantage “could be improved”

The support of a big crowd has been a big factor for the 49ers this season.

Unfortunately, they might have had more vocal support at their road opener in Dallas than in the first game at new Levi’s Stadium.

Jed York: "Ray McDonald is not Ray Rice"

Ray Rice was cut by the Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the NFL for his domestic violence incident. So why is Ray McDonald still playing for the 49ers after his own domestic violence arrest?

Because, according to 49ers CEO Jed York, the situations are not the same.

49ers intend to honor due process on Ray McDonald

On one hand, the 49ers won’t tolerate domestic violence.  On the other hand, the 49ers apparently won’t take action against a player accused of domestic violence prematurely.

“Well, right now it’s a legal matter,” G.M. Trent Baalke told reporters on Monday, via Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News. “There’s such a thing called due process, and we intend on letting that play out.”

Jim Harbaugh says he won’t keep a player guilty of domestic violence

When 49ers Ray McDonald was arrested for felony domestic violence this weekend, he became the first test case for the league’s new, tougher policy on the matter.

But he’ll also test his own coach’s long-held attitude toward players who put their hands on women.

During his regular appearance on KNBR this morning, Harbaugh made it clear he would not tolerate behavior such that McDonald has been accused of.
