Colin Kaepernick apologizes for insensitive comment involving Houston flooding
Earlier today, Colin Kaepernick made a questionable remark comparing the flooding in Houston and his progress as a player on Instagram.
He has now apologized for it.
“I’m so sorry about my insensitive post earlier today,” Kaepernick said. “I didn’t fully understand how many people are struggling in Houston right now and I feel horrible. My prayers are with everyone there.”
It’s good that Kaepernick apologized but if public figures put some thought in what they are posting before they hit send, there would be no need for apologies.
